Here are five things you should know about today in East Providence:

  1. Mostly sunny with a high near 73 degrees.
  2. Drop in on the Knit and Crochet Club with Lurene Sorogheye at Weaver Library at 6:30 pm. Enjoy sitting, talking, laughing, and knitting with others!
  3. Newman Congregational Church, 100 Newman Ave., Rumford, host an AA meeting at 8 pm in the chapel.
  4. Drop into the computer class at the Weaver library from 9:30 to 11 am for help with using the Internet, uploading a resume, or help with your Kindle or Nook.
  5. The Centre Court Tennis Club, 55 Hospital Road, hosts tennis drills and workouts each day from 9 am to noon hosted by the Barrington Neighbors and Newcomers.
