5 Things to Know About Today

Here are five things you should know about today in East Providence:

  1. A rainy day is in store with temperatures that will approach 65 degrees.
  2. The board of trustees of the Weaver Library meet at 4:30 pm in the library, 41 Grove Ave.
  3. The Riverside Branch Library, 475 Bullocks Point Ave., offers a Born to Read story time at 10 am for babies and toddlers from birth through 35 months. No advance registration is necessary.
  4. The Weaver Library also offers a story time today at 6:30 pm for children ages 2-6 and their families. No advance registration necessary.
  5. Newman Congregational Church, 100 Newman Ave. in Rumford, hosts an AA meeting at 8 pm in the chapel.
