Big Pawtucket Cocaine Bust: Police
Pawtucket police said Gumercindo "Cindo" Sanchez and Derek Ashworth were found with about $20,000 worth of cocaine.

PAWTUCKET, RI — Two cocaine dealers were arrested and $20,000 worth of drugs were seized during a raid in Pawtucket, according to police. Gumercindo “Cindo” Sanchez, 39, and Derek Ashworth, 39 — both of Pawtucket — face a host of charges.
The raid was conducted Friday at the pair's Park Street apartment following a months-long investigation into cocaine distribution in the city, police said. Officers seized 360 grams of cocaine, marijuana and about $10,500 in cash, police said.
Sanchez and Ashworth were charged with cocaine possession with intent to distribute, manufacturing cocaine, distributing drugs near a school and maintaining a "common nuisance." Ashworth was also charged with marijuana possession with intent to distribute.
