Carolyn Salzillo, 80, Burial at Veterans Cemetery

Carolyn (Walters) Salzillo, formerly of Sterling Street, East Providence, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013 at the Evergreen House. She was 80.
She was the wife of the late Jerry Salzillo. Born Feb. 4, 1933, in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Yvonne Marie (Langlais) Walters.
She leaves her children, Susan Mello of East Providence, Karen Selley of Rumford, Jeffrey Salzillo of Foster and Richard Salzillo of East Providence; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was also the sister of Raymond P. Walters Jr. of Maine, Donald Walters of Providence, and of the late Norma Read, Helen McCaron and Richard Walters.
Relatives and friends will gather today, Sept. 18, at 9 am at the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, to join a funeral procession traveling to the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, where services and burial will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are greatly appreciated to the Providence Rescue Mission, 627 Cranston St., Providence, RI 02907.
