Citywide Arts Festival On Tap In East Providence

The Looff on Tour will be a socially distanced showcase for the city's arts, food and beverage scene.

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — The Looff on Tour will provide a socially distanced showcase for East Providence artists, musicians and restaurants during the coronavirus crisis.

The East Providence Arts Council is sponsoring the citywide event Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. that will include live entertainment, artist displays and food and drink from several East Providence establishments.

The Council said the lineup includes artists: Wendy Anctil, Joan Bergeron, Rachel Brask Studio LLC, Jennifer Gillooly Cahoon, Joanne DaLomba, Emily Farnsworth, Vanessa Fusco, Delores Gaynor, Eric Giorgi, Cathren Housley, John Hunter Housley, Paul Morse, Karen Murphy Fine Art, Alison O'Donnell, Clam Alley Pots, Karen Petit, Zach Prosser, Joanna Elizabeth Read, The Little Clay Studio and Jade Sisti.

Among the establishments offering food and drink are: Borealis Coffee Roasters, Union Burrito, Fuse & Spark, Riverside Creamery, and Stevie D's Riverside Tavern.

Entertainment will be provided by: Dan Lilley & Scatman, Black Cadillac Trio, The SuperMags, Holly and the Sacred Flames, a capella groups.

Visitors can take a hike at Hunt's Mills, stroll the The East Bay Pike Path or walk through Watchemoket Square.

Those attending the event are asked to wear masks and maintain social distancing in accordance with coronavirus guidelines.
