Former EP Man Sentenced For Connecticut & Bay State Robberies
Robert Chadronet, 41, was sentenced to 90 months in prison for robbing two banks in Connecticut and one bank in Massachusetts: U.S. Attorney

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — Robert Chadronet, 41, was sentenced to 90 months in prison for robbing two banks in Connecticut and one bank in Massachusetts, according to John H. Durham, U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut. Chadronet, who formerly lived in East Providence, also violated his probation for a 2016 bank robbery he committed in Rhode Island. He was sentenced in Hartford, Conn., federal court on Wednesday. He's also required to pay back $4,026. After he does his time, he will also have three years of probation, Durham's office said.
According to court papers, Chadronet "used force, violence and intimidation to rob approximately $1,000 from a branch of TD Bank located at 1003 West Main Street in Branford, Conn., on July 27, 2015; approximately $2,329 from a branch of Citizens Bank located at 1187 Boston Post Road in Westbrook, Conn., on August 27, 2015, and approximately $697 from a branch of Citizen’s Bank located at 2991 Cranberry Highway in Wareham, Mass., on September 9, 2015."
He was already in prison, Durham's office said. He was arrested Sept. 10. 2015 for an Aug. 2015 bank robbery in Milford, Conn. He pleaded guilty in state court to the Milford robbery and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
