James Vieira, 87, Formerly of Riverside

James Vieira, formerly of Hilton Ave., Riverside, East Providence, died Saturday, July 13, 2013. He was 87.
He was the husband of the late Mary "Lilly" (Oliver) Pereira. Born July 26, 1925, in Sao Miguel, Azores, he was a son of the late Manuel Vieira Barros and Mary Barbosa.
He is survived by his Godson, Antonio Pereira and his wife Mary Ann of East Providence and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late Tiolinda Rocha and Silvana Pereira.
His funeral will begin Tuesday, July 16, at 8am from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am in St. Francis Xavier Church, No. Carpenter St., East Providence. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Monday, July 15, from 5-8pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Assn., 245 Waterman Street, Providence, RI 02906.
