Lena (Franco) Raposa, 101, Former E.P. Business Owner

Lena (Franco) Raposa, formerly of So. Blossom St. and Moorland Avenue, died Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Mount St. Rita Health Centre. She was 101.

She was the wife of the late John A. Raposa. Born January 19, 1912, in Fall River, Mass., she was the daughter of the late William and Ursula (Soares) Franco.

She was the original co-owner of the Town Sweet Shop and of JAR Bakers' Supply along with her late husband. Her funeral is today, April 29, at Rebello Funeral Home, 901 Broadway, East Providence. Click here for her complete obituary.
