Lions Club Road Races Coming Up

The Rumford Lions Club hosts its 14th annual road races this Sunday, April 28.

The races include the Scott Gorham 5K Road Race, the Two-Mile Family Fun Walk, and children’s events. The 5K starts at 10 am; the walk starts 5 minutes later; children’s races take place after the 5K and before the awards ceremony.

You can register on the day of the event from 8:30 to 9:30 am. Download the race registration form using the link below and bring it with you to the race.

All of the races will take place again this year at Hunts Mills Field on Pleasant Street (Route 114A) in East Providence.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the overall first, second and third place female and male winners. Medals will be given to winners in various age groups. 

The 5K course is described as flat and fast and has been professionally measured.
