Pick Up Museum Passes Today at Libraries
There also will be a few showers, story time at the library, where you can get summer reading lists, and tennis drills at Centre Court in Riverside.
Here are five things you should know about today in East Providence:
- A few showers with a high temperature of around 74 degrees.
- Weaver Library, 41 Grove Ave., holds a story time for children ages 2-6 every Thursday from 10 to 10:30 am.
- Have your kids started their summer reading yet? You can get the reading lists for East Providence High School and East Providence’s two middle schools at Weaver Library.
- Have you discovered the museum passes available at the Weaver library for some summer fun, such as Battleship Cove, Southwick’s Zoo, Old Sturbridge Village and The Hall of Patriot Place.
- Centre Court Tennis Club, 55 Hospital Road, offers tennis drills and workouts each day from 9 am to noon with the Barrington Neighbors and Newcomers Club.
