Rotary Awards $1,000 Scholarships
Four students will receive their awards from the East Providence/Seekonk Rotary Club on May 6.
The East Providence/Seekonk Rotary Scholarship Committee announced its 2013 scholarship recipients last week. Each will receive $1,000.

- Hannah Drolet from East Providence High School
- Dakota J. Dolde from East Providence Career & Technical Center
- Emily Petrie from Saint Mary’s Bay View Academy
- Holly Shillan from Seekonk High School
The scholarships are awarded to the local students who best "exemplify the criteria of service, leadership, and academic achievement," said Rotary member Helen Siravo, vice president and branch manager for Coastway Community Bank in East Providence.
Each student will receive their scholarship on May 6 at a ceremony at Chello’s restaurant in East Providence.
