• Weaver Library, 41 Grove Ave., offers a 9:30 am drop-in computer class if you need some help using the Internet, uploading a resume, or help with your Laptop, Kindle or Nook.
• Today is the final day to audition for the Providence Singers concert season; tenors and basses are needed but you can schedule an audition with an email to chorus@providencesingers.org; for any voice type; auditions take place at the Carter Center, 667 Waterman Ave. East Providence, at 7 pm.

• Plan your reading early this week; the Weaver Library and the Riverside branch library will be closed Saturday, Aug. 31, through Monday, Sept. 2 for the Labor Day weekend.
