Storm watch- Word has it there's a winter storm watch in effect for RI, with a possible 6-10 inches of snow forecast for East Providence. You'll want to keep your car off the street so the city can clear it.

In other snow related news:

  • East Providence Public Schools: No afternoon activities.
  • There will be a parking ban in effect for the city starting at 3 p.m. - Any cars parked on the street after that time, given a reasonable grace period, will be ticketed and towed to make way for plows.
  • CODAC - East Bay: Closed Friday; Bring Takehome Box Thursday
  • Trailside Daycare: Closing Thursday @ 3 p.m.

Holiday Rubbish Schedule - All holidays (with the exception of Presidents Day) will result in a one day delay in Rubbish, Recycling and Yard Waste (in season) collections for the remainder of the week. That means the schedule will be delayed one day staring Thursday.
