Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Ms. Teixeira takes the time with her students and meets them at their individual level. She cares about each and every one of them. It can be challenging to do that. It’s much easier to work with the A and B students. She leads by example. She role models to her students how people should be treated. She is a wonderful educator and human being. Her students and their parents are lucky to have her.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

She is a role model to her students. Students watch what their teachers do and how they treat other students. There needs to be more kindness in this world and teachers are with students more hours in the day then parents. Students emulate what the adults in their lives do. Teaching kindness should always be incorporated into life. She does that.
