Exeter Vandal Arrested After Disturbance: Cops
The Exeter woman was also charged with assault, police said.
EXETER, RI — An Exeter woman was arrested Saturday following a disturbance at her home, police said.
Belinda Gauvin, 56, was arrested shortly after 1 p.m. and charged with assault and vandalism, according to the release.
Gauvin was taken to Westerly Hospital for an evaluation, the release said.

Gauvin was arraigned at the hospital, according to the release, then transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Women's Intake Center where she was held on a charge of violating the terms of a one-year suspended sentence.
Gauvin received the one-year suspended sentence in January after pleading no contest to a charge of assault.
