Wanted Virginian Captured In Exeter: Cops

The Virginia Beach resident was wanted in connection with cases in Central Falls, Woonsocket and Smithfield, police said.

EXETER, RI — A wanted Virginian was captured during a traffic stop in Exeter, police said.

Yoey Breton, 40, was pulled over on Interstate 95 about. 1 p.m. Wednesday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Breton, a resident of Virginia Beach, was arrested on warrants for failing to appear in court on charges of larceny, felony assault and driving a vehicle without the consent of the owner, according to the release.

The larceny charge was in connection with a Central Falls Police Department case, the assault charge was in connection with a Woonsocket Police Department case and the driving a vehicle without the consent of the owner charge was in connection with a Smithfield Police Department case, the release said.

Breton was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center, according to the release.
