Cue Alanis Morissette: A recently-minted Johnston Police officer found herself on the other side of the thin blue line this week after being arrested in a Warwick breaking-and-entering case. Extra irony points: She'd been chosen to recite the officers' code of ethics at her graduation from the state police academy in December, 2012. Wednesday afternoon, Police Chief Richard Tamburini announced that Marissa Ciccone, 24, had been suspended from the Johnston Police force.
