Johnston Bad Check Passer Picked Up: Police

The wanted Johnston man was arrested Thursday, police said.

JOHNSTON, RI — A Johnston man wanted on a bad check charge surrendered to the law Thursday, police said.

David Petrucci,58, was arrested about 9:15 p.m., the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Petrucci was wanted on a warrant charging him with fraudulent checks over $1,500, the release said. Petrucci surrendered to the state police, was processed and transported to Third Division District Court for arraignment, according to the release.
