Fugitive Johnston Embezzler Captured: Cops
The Johnston woman was wanted by the East Greenwich police and in Massachusetts, police said.
JOHNSTON, RI — A Johnston woman wanted by the East Greenwich police and in Massachusetts was apprehended, police said.
Thea Sip, 42, was arrested Tuesday on charges of embezzlement and fraudulent conversion and fugitive from justice from Massachusetts for larceny over $1,200, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Sip was captured by the state police Violent Fugitive Task Force, according to the release.

"Ms. Sip was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the East Providence Police Department," the release said.
