27th Annual Thanksgiving Pie Run

The Newport Running Club organizes the annual Pie Run, held Thanksgiving morning, in Middletown, RI.

This year's race will be on Thursday, November 22, 2012, starting promptly at 8:30 am. The 5 mile USATF sanctioned road race and 3 mile non-competitive walk starts and ends in front of the Newport County YMCA, 792 Valley Road, and is a scenic course with panoramic views of Sachuest Beach.

Entrants are asked to bring one non-perishable food item to be contributed to a local food bank. Long sleeve technical shirts are available for all preregistered participants whose registrations are received prior to November 8th, 2012. Entry cost is $25, both pre and post registration.
