Aliens in Middletown? Local UFO Sightings

Middletown beaches are a popular tourist destination, but just how far are visitors coming to enjoy the vista?  According to a website, UFOstalker.com,  some believe tourists are coming from out of this world. 

“I joined a friend at the beach who was watching three or four light entities come in to the sky, colors changing, hovering, slowly moving up, down and across the sky,” a witness wrote this August. 

Last year,  someone reported a flashbulb and erratic movement of a star-like object in the Middletown sky.  The year before, a person reported a silver, moving light in the area.

These reports go back over 30 years.  One person logged that a UFO was spotted flying slowly down the street in Newport in the summer of 1972.
