'Bruce' The Mardi Gras Shark Arrives At Flo's Clam Shack

The 25-foot shark was brought to Flo's by a crane on Sunday.

MIDDLETOWN, RI — The massive shark formerly mounted on the roof of Mardi Gras multiclub in Cranston has found a new home. Bruce the shark arrived by crane to Flo's Clam Shack on Sunday.

"Welcome, Bruce!" read a post on the restaurant's Facebook page.

The video showed the 25-foot shark dangling form a crane as it was lowered onto the boat in from of the Middletown restaurant.

"Come see it, it's better than the big blue bug!" said Flo's employee Chris Podell.

The shark was put up for sale on Facebook Marketplace for $1,000 last March before being purchased by Flo's. The popular Mardi Gras multiclub closed its doors for good in November 2018 before briefly reopening under the name "Club 5."

"It was and [sic] awesome ride. Thanks for sharing it with us," the club's owners wrote on Facebook in May 2018 before Club 5 shut its doors for good.
