Driver in Pell Bridge Accident in Critical Condition
The accident occurred on Dec. 24, 2013
A driver involved in an accident on the Newport Pell Bridge on Christmas Eve is in critical condition, according to the Providence Journal.
Elijah Swift, 75, collided head-on with a car driven by 25-year-old William Oberg of Warwick. Police told the Providence Journal Swift was in serious condition at Rhode Island Hospital.
No charges have been filed. Â
