Elected as VP of the Providence Chapter of the Barbershop Society

Middletown resident John Woodhouse has been elected as Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations of the Providence Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society and the Narragansett Bay Chorus for 2022.

The chorus, one of the singing units of the chapter, was founded in 1949, and has won the chorus championship in the Northeastern District of the Barbershop Harmony Society 15 times. The district covers eastern New York, New England and eastern Canada.

The chorus aims to provide very high quality a cappella vocal entertainment for all audiences, primarily in the Barbershop style of four-part harmony, and to promote this style of singing among men and women of all ages.
