Local Career Fair Offers Various Job Opportunities and Signing Bonuses

Career Fair set for October 19 in East Providence

East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is hosting a Career Fair on Wednesday, October 19, from 3:00-6:00pm at the East Providence Senior Center on 610 Waterman Ave., East Providence. EBCAP’s current job openings include behavioral health clinicians/case managers, early childhood education teachers/teacher assistants, medical assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, social services case managers/advocates, and administrative positions. Interviews will be conducted on site and incentive sign-on bonuses of $1,000 to $5,000 will be offered to those that qualify.

“We are pretty much hiring for all departments and hoping to recruit a number of bilingual individuals,” states Norma Conley, EBCAP’s VP of Human Resources. “There are openings at our health and behavioral health centers, our Head Start program, in our finance department, in facilities, our social services division, as well as human resources. We encourage people to bring their resumes and be prepared to meet with our hiring managers,” adds Conley.
