Middletown All Stars Vying for Championship in Andreozzi Tournament

The team earned a spot in the championship game tonight against Barrington.

The boys on the 7- and 8-year-old All Star baseball team from Middletown will be taking the field at Slater Park in Pawtucket Tuesday night. And no matter the final result, this is a team that can feel proud about all they’ve done this season.

The team has been playing in the Christopher Andreozzi tournament for four weeks and have played with grace, class and moments of brilliance as they’ve held on through several elimination rouds.

They now find themselves as one of the final two teams in the tournament, which comes to a head tonight with a game against Barrington.
