Middletown Officials Say Conditions Are Extremely Dangerous, Stay Inside
Officials urge residents to stay off the road.
The Middletown Emergency Management Team urges residents to stay off the roads until further notice. There are many trees and power lines that have fallen, some of which are live and smoking.
"It is extremely treacherous," said Fire Chief Ronald Doire. Â

As of 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Rhode Island there are 80,052 National Grid customers without power, and 4,564 in Middletown.
