MPD: Man Allegedly Breaks Into Apartment, Steals Video Games

The following arrest was reported by the Middletown Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Police arrested Christopher Jacobs, 33, of Fall River on Wednesday around 8:34 a.m. on a felony breaking and entering charge.   On Tuesday, around 3:00 p.m. police responded to 3 Vierra Terrace for a complaint that someone broke into the apartment and stole Play Station video games, controllers and cables.

The owner of the items said Jacobs had been at his apartment earlier that morning because he was going to help Jacobs find a job.

He checked with Game Stop on East Main Road and confirmed an individual had traded the games in for cash around 1:30 that afternoon. The employee said he would need a police report to retrieve the items.

A warrant was issued and Jacobs turned himself in to police.
