Newport Hospital 5K Race Set For Sunday
Traffic will be detoured to accommodate the runners, Middletown police said.
MIDDLETOWN, RI—A road race Sunday will cause some changes to traffic patterns, Middletown police said. The race starts at the Newport County YMCA on Valley Road at 9 a.m. (A Kids' Fun Run starts at 8:30 a.m.) Some roads will be barricaded, police said. Valley Road will be closed from Aquidneck Avenue to Johnny Cake Hill.
