Obituary: John Corbishley

John died peacefully on April 5, 2013. 

He is survived by his wife Jane E. Corbishley, his three sons, John Jr., Matthew and Mark Corbishley and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

John was a general agent for Mass Mutual Insurance retiring in 1996. He was the CEO of “The Corbishley Financial Group” and served as the president for 10 years. He was a dedicated volunteer and active sailor, as a volunteer he was on many committees and volunteered in Providence Schools, Battleship Massachusetts and the RI Foundation. He is a past commodore of the Newport Yacht Club.

His memorial service will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 11 a.m. in St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 399 Hope Street, Bristol.
