• Rhode Islanders donate 7,067 gifts through BankRI's Holiday Giving Tree (pbn.com) — Middletown residents helped brighten the holidays for local kids through BankRI’s Holiday Giving Tree, which supported Lucy’s Hearth via the Middletown branch. Across Rhode Island, donors contributed 7,067 gifts to nonprofits from Woonsocket to Newport, making this one of the program’s biggest collections in its 28-year history and spreading cheer to children statewide.
