Many creative ideas were exchanged by Middletown council candidates. We thank them for stepping up and running for office. This event was arranged in a non-partisan fashion. Each candidate’s principles and beliefs were on display, not a party’s.There was no evidence of what party each candidate represented and whether they were endorsed or not by a party.
This could be the last time that in Middletown we will have a non-partisan council slate of candidates.
Please exercise your right to vote for seven of these candidates of your choosing.
A very important change in the charter is up for vote this year: Does Middletown want to have a non-partisan council moving forward after this election?
It is very important to understand the implications of this very important change.
Please take time to research the pros and cons of this monumental change in the way Middletown could be run in the future Please do not make this change lightly!
