
MIDDLETOWN, RI—Students in Middletown have a snow day on Monday.
School officials decided to make the call to cancel school on Sunday evening in anticipation of a potentially messy commute Monday.
A winter storm is expected to bring 4 to 8 or more inches of snow before it ends on Monday afternoon.
Meanwhile, the town is under a parking ban that began at 8 p.m. on Sunday and will remain in place until 1 p.m. Monday.
