He’s kind of like the Ozzie Canseco or Roger Clinton of the family though. On this day in 1808, Joseph Bonaparte, this dude’s brother, was crowned King of Spain. As you can imagine, this didn’t go over super well – he only had tenuous control over the country, since his generals always wanted to check with his big-little-little brother first, and Joe Bonaparte stole the crown jewels of Spain and sold them in America after he abdicated the throne. Outside of that though, things went well.
Plus, he had the best slap shot in NHLPA 93 for the Super Nintendo, which is really the most important thing. Happy 46th birthday to Boston Bruins legend and Hall of Fame hockey player Cam Neely.
