5 THINGS: Bocce!!!

Here are the (more than) Five Things for Tuesday, May 22, 2012:

It’s bocce season at the Center! Curling is for freaks on ice, croquet is for the snobby Judge Smails, and horseshoes are for hicks, so please focus on the true sport of kings, bocce. The of the Center meets every Tuesday at 10 a.m.

“I love doubleheaders. That way I get to keep my uniform on longer.” – Tommy Lasorda. There is a double dip for South Kingstown town meetings tonight, both at 7 p.m. The planning board at town hall, and the school committee at the school administration building.

Book clubs, movies and tennis lessons! Have you checked out our events calendar lately? You know, it is where I get most of my information for this article. Also, as long as you have a Patch account, you can create your own events and save us some hard work. (Thanks in advance!)

Register for Narragansett or South Kingstown summer camp! Narragansett Parks and Recreation is now taking registrations for , which begins June 25. The cost is $135, and the camp typically runs into late August. South Kingstown is also , and to see their summer camp guide, go here.
