Blog blog blog blog blogggggg. At Narragansett-South Kingstown Patch, we’re always looking for new bloggers, despite our obnoxiously long name. If you’d like free exposure for your existing blog, or simply want to start writing, feel free to shoot an email to Stephen.greenwell@patch.com to get the process started. You can write about WHATEVER you’d like!

You LIKE me, you really LIKE me! On this day in 1929, the first Academy Awards were held. The first film to win? Wings, which was the only silent film to win best picture until The Artist in 2012.

Probably the fourth-best Bond, but still. Happy 58th birthday to Pierce Brosnan! You’re definitely no Sean Connery or Roger Moore, and I’d say you’re not even a Daniel Craig. But hey, you weren’t actively bad as Bond either. Plus, no one can ever take GoldenEye away from you (or from the Nintendo 64). So you’ve got that going for you, which is nice.
