5 THINGS: Jewel, Women’s Baseball and Biking

Here are the (more than) Five Things for Wednesday, May 23, 2012:

The real life Geena Davis! Wilma Briggs, a former women’s professional baseball player, at 1 p.m. at the South Kingstown Senior Center. The event is free, and awesome.

You can bike to school (if it doesn’t rain, part 500)! For the third week in a row, there is a chance of rain for . I feel like I might be jinxing things, but I refuse to be intimidated into stopping.

“If it’s a good script I’ll do it. And if it’s a bad script, and they pay me enough, I’ll do it.” – George Burns. The Contemporary Theatre Company is offering acting classes at 5 p.m. The cost is $10.

Register for Narragansett or South Kingstown summer camp! Narragansett Parks and Recreation is now taking registrations for , which begins June 25. The cost is $135, and the camp typically runs into late August. South Kingstown is also , and to see their summer camp guide, go here.
