I have ridden this, and it is scary as hell. On this day in 2005, the Kingda Ka rollercoaster at Six Flags in New Jersey opened up. It goes up 456 feet in the air, reaches a top speed of 128 miles per hour and frequently has to be taken offline for minor safety issues. Outside of that though, it’s pretty tame.

Happy birthday, Andrew Miller! You’re 27 today, and while you might only be pitching mop-up relief for the Red Sox, heck, I’d do that for $500,000 a year as well.
