Annual High School FFA Sale TODAY! Seriously!

Check out the plants, salsa and maple syrup at the FFA sale today, before it is all gone.

Hey, why are you stuck inside reading this?

Where you should be is the annual Narragansett High School FFA plant sale, which is being held today from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The sale is at their greenhouse at the high school.

According to school officials, this year there is a wide variety of perennials and annuals, including many different vegetables and flowers. All of the proceeds of the plant sale go back into the agriculture department to further the learning of students.

Senior Ryan Field said that other popular products should be available – maple syrup and salsa.

“It’s a great time and people like to come and hang out,” he said.

Field added that his years in FFA had been great, and he encouraged other kids to get involved.

“We raised all the plants ourselves, about five to six classes,” he said. “Whether you’re a shy kid or an outgoing kid, there is a lot you can do.”

If you can’t make it the sale this weekend, they will also be there next Saturday, May 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. again. You know, assuming they don’t sell out of everything in a wild frenzy of selling on the first day. So really, you should go today, just to be safe.
