Charles J. Lavimodiere, Retired Narragansett Town Employee, Dies at 79

Charles J. Lavimodiere, 79, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014. He was the husband of Marie (Cooney) Lavimodiere.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Theodore and Dora Lavimodiere.

Charles worked for the Town of Narragansett for many years before retiring in 2004. He enjoyed boating, fishing and spending time with his family.

He was the father of Arlene Lavimodiere, Charles Lavimodiere Jr. and his wife Theresa, Donna, Michael, Joseph, and Joyce Lavimodiere and grandfather of six grandchildren.

His funeral was held Jan. 11 in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial was in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
