Community Fair Tomorrow for Gansett Town Center

The organizers of Where's the Town? hope to bring attention to what they feel is a lacking community in the town center.

Where’s the Town?, an advocacy group looking to return a more vibrant town center to Narragansett, will be hosting a community fair in the Pier Village from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The rain date for the event is Sunday.

A slew of bands are scheduled to perform, ranging from Narragansett School Department bands to DJs from CAT Country 98.1.

For the kids, there will be a tea party, arts and crafts, and other surprise activities. For the grown-up artists, there will be exhibits featuring pastels, sea glass, mixed media, oils and printmaking.
