Community Heart Walk, Wellness Fair Thank Community

To the editor,

The first annual Narragansett Community Heart Walk and Wellness Fair were held on Saturday, April 9 in partnership with the American Heart Association. Narragansett families and community members enjoyed the walk along the “Path to Health.”

The School District Wellness Committee would like to thank all of the agencies that helped to make the community walk and the wellness fair such a success.

Thank you to Thundermist Health Center of South County, the American Heart Association, CVS in Narragansett, Belmont’s Market, Roch’s Market in Narragansett, Schartner’s Farm, Chartwell’s Food Service, the Narragansett Lions Club, the Narragansett Police Department, the Narragansett Department of Community Development, local girl and boy scout troops, and all of the community volunteers. Also, a special thanks to Rowdie McDonald for her performance at Opening Ceremonies.
