District Court Log: April 19, 20 and 21, 2011

A wrap-up of court activity.

WAKEFIELD – The following cases were heard in Fourth Division District Court:

  • Phillip Maclean St. Clair, 48, of 480 South County Trail, Apt. #1-1, Exeter, pleaded no contest to a Rhode Island State Police charge emanating from the Wickford barracks of driving while intoxicated. He was ordered to pay a $100 fine and $680.50 in assessments, to surrender his license for three months, to serve a year of probation, and to complete 10 hours of community service and alcohol abuse treatment.
  • Roberto A. Aveiro, 20, of 37 Woodridge Drive S, Stamford, CT, pleaded no contest to a Narragansett police charge of disorderly conduct. He was ordered to complete 30 hours of community service, and the charge will be filed for one year.
  • Kyle Edward Timpson, 20, of 3 Camden Road, Narragansett, pleaded no contest a Narragansett police charge of possession of marijuana. He was ordered to make a $200 donation to the Violent Crimes Indemnity Fund, and the charge will be filed for one year.
  • Patricia A. Towle, 49, of 221 Sand Hill Cove Road, Narragansett, pleaded no contest to a Narragansett police charge of making obscene phone calls. The charge will be filed for one year.
  • Jennifer L. Melino, 26, formerly of 150 Clark St., Cumberland, and now of 106 River Drive, Providence, pleaded no contest to a Rhode Island State Police charge emanating from the Wickford barracks of domestic simple assault. The charge will be filed for one year, and a no-contact order between her and a 25-year-old man was quashed.
  • Miguel Simaj, 26, of 61 Rosedale St., Providence, pleaded no contest to a Rhode Island State Police charge emanating from the Wickford barracks of driving without a license. He was ordered to pay a $250 fine.
  • Erbin Vicente, 24, of 219 Hanover St., Providence, pleaded no contest to a Rhode Island State Police charge emanating from the Wickford barracks of driving without a license. Vicente was ordered to pay a $250 fine.
  • John Webster, 58, formerly of 703 Park Ave., Cranston, and now of 19 Fay St., Cranston, pleaded o contest to a Rhode Island State Police charge emanating from the Wickford barracks of driving with a suspended license, fifth offense.
  • Matthew M. Jessop, 22, of 79 Emmett Lane, Wakefield, pleaded no contest to a Narragansett police charge of driving with a suspended license. He was ordered to pay a $250 fine unless he provides proof of license reinstatement by sentencing on May 31.
  • Emily J. Novia, of 1499 Ocean Road, Apt. #42, Narragansett, pleaded no contest to a Narragansett police charge of driving with a suspended license. She was ordered to pay a $250 fine unless she provides proof of license reinstatement by sentencing on May 31.
  • A South Kingstown police charge of disorderly conduct against Zachary M. Brown, 21, of 30 Kinney Ave. in Narragansett was dismissed. According to court records, Brown made a $100 donation to the Violent Crimes Indemnity Fund.
