South Kingstown Spa Destroyed by Inferno
A major three-alarm fire destroyed a building in the South County Commons shopping center early Sunday morning.
SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI—A three-alarm fire destroyed a building at South County Commons early Sunday.
Area firefighters, including members of the Union Fire District, Kingston Fire District, Peace Dale and Narragansett Fire Departments and crews from Exeter responded to the blaze.

The fire destroyed the unit, which houses Spa Mosiac, leaving behind a gutted shell and devastation for the owner of the spa and the staff of nearly 30 people who worked there.
The fire reportedly began after a car crashed into the building. The vehicle, a white SUV, was also incinerated as it sat on the curb, partially embedded in the burning building.

National Grid and the Providence Canteen also responded to the scene in addition.
The owner, Suzanne Reed, said that she has received an outpouring of support since the fire.
"We do not know where we are going but we are headed there ! I am fortunate in my life to have more woman than anyone knows what to do with and it is with their love and support that we will find a new home for us and our amazing clients," she said in a Facebook post.
Nobody was hurt in the fire.
The building is a total loss and will be demolished, authorities said.
A call for more information was placed with the Union Fire District. This story will be updated.
