  1. Alleviating food insecurity,
  2. Assisting housing insecurity and the unhoused,
  3. Helping to support mental health and personal safety (domestic violence)

Personal safety programs would help to reduce/avoid domestic violence, sexual
assault of adults, children and teens, and help foster healthy
interpersonal relationships. Educational and arts programs that
directly support these vital needs can apply for a Grant.

Only 501(c)3 organizations, with offices in Rhode Island, and whose
programs impact South County residents, are eligible. The application
is ‘live’ and available online at https://www.gfwcri.org/projects-vfqrc
until October 9, 2025.
