High School to Support Narragansett Residents in Military
The group, based on an initiative by Michelle Obama and Jill Biden, is looking for any Narragansett High School alum currently serving in the armed forces.
Michele Obama and Jill Biden will be launching a major national initiative calling
on all Americans to support our military families. The first step they suggest
taking is to become aware of the military families in your community.
Jill Gunning, Kathy Couchon, Dave Cannon and AnnMarie Zaborski will be launching the Blue Star Family Initiative at Narragansett High School. A Blue Star Family is any family that has a member that is serving in active duty in any branch of the military.
We would like to begin by collecting and displaying the names of Narragansett High School graduates who are currently serving. If you know of anyone, please contact us with the soldier name, branch and title. Thank you.
