The Irony of Time Limited Parking, and No Limit on Cabana Rentals

The Town Council Fights for What Is Wrong and Fails to Fight for What Is Right.

To show the exclusivity beliefs of the Narragansett Town Council and appointed officials: The Narragansett Town Council Is All About Time Limited Parking to Make It MORE Difficult for people (Our Brothers and Sisters Who Are Non Narragansett Taxpayers and Cannot Purchase A Season Parking Pass nor a Season Walk On Pass) to enjoy a day at Narragansett Beach and Narragansett Pier, and THEY FAIL TO IMPOSE NO TIME LIMIT ON THE TIME PEOPLE CAN RENT OUT A CABANA RENTAL AT NARRAGANSETT BEACH. WE HAVE PEOPLE ON THE WAITING LIST FOR BEACH CABANA RENTALS FOR OVER 10 YEARS. The Town Council wants to IMPOSE time limits when they SHOULD NOT BE IMPOSED along our area roads (The Town Council Tried to Put Up Time Limited Signage Along Ocean Road and Narragansett Ave Without the Approval of the State Traffic Commission, YET they fail to impose time limits on cabana rentals when THEY SHOULD BE IMPOSED. Some of those WHO RENT OUT THE VIP CABANAS WHO HAVE THEIR OWN VIP PARKING LOT AND SHOWER AND OTHER AMENITIES ARE THE BIGGEST COMPLAINERS WHO STATE THAT NARRAGANSETT BEACH IS OVERCROWDED. WHAT IS EQUALLY IRONIC IS SEVERAL OF THE CABANA OWNERS WHO ARE MEMBERS OF THE FRIENDS OF NARRAGANSETT TOWN BEACH GROUP AND THE NARAGANSETT PIER/TOWN RESIDENTS GROUP PUSHED FOR THE CARRYING CAPACITY BECAUSE THEY FELT THE BEACH WAS OVERCROWDED. Ironically, the push by the aforementioned groups that pushed for the Beach Carrying Capacity Study in the HOPE IT WOULD CONCLUDE THE BEACH WAS OVERCROWDED, THE BEACH CARRYING CAPACITY CONCLUDED NARRAGANSETT BEACH IS NOT OVERCROWDED, AND TOWN SHOULD MAKE THE BEACH MORE WELCOMING. Should Narragansett re-elect the incumbents who are running for re-election? I will let you answer that question.
