MA Man Dies In RI Crash On Way Home From Family Trip In DE
Rhode Island State Police said the driver lost control on I-95 and hit the barrier.
EXETER, RI — A Massachusetts man died in a crash Monday on Interstate 95 in Exeter, and his two passengers suffered injuries, according to Rhode Island State Police.
The crash happened around 9:30 p.m., when the driver lost control of the vehicle, hit the barricade and rolled over, State Police said.
Three people were in the car, all from Abington, Massachusetts. State Police said the three men were driving home from a family weekend in Delaware.

Several witnesses performed CPR before an ambulance arrived, but the 38-year-old driver did not survive. State Police said he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not released the man's identity.
State Police said the two passengers, ages 30 and 61, suffered minor injuries.

State Police said the exact cause of the crash is still under investigation, but it doesn't appear alcohol, weather or speed were factors in the crash.
