Man Dies In Narragansett Motorcyle Crash

NARRAGANSETT, RI — A Warwick man died Sunday after his motorcycle crashed into a car, according to police.

The crash happened around 5:30 p.m., on Ocean Road near Wildfield Farm Road, and killed Paul Courtemanche, 52, of Warwick, police said.

According to police, Courtemanche was making a sharp turn on a curve, when his motorcycle crossed the double yellow lines and struck a car. Police said Courtemanche was wearing a helmet, but did not survive his injuries.

Police said neither Courtemanche nor the other driver were impaired, but speed was likely a factor in the crash for the motorcycle.
