Narragansett To Host Eco-Depot April 23
Household hazardous waste, electronic waste, scrap metal and certain household items will be collected for safe disposal or donation.

NARRAGANSETT, RI — The town of Narragansett will host an eco-depot from 8 a.m. to noon on April 23. The event will be open to all Rhode Island residents, not just Narragansett locals.
The collection will be held at the Narragansett Town Beach's North Pavilion at 77 Boston Neck Rd. Household hazardous waste, electronic waste, scrap metal and other household goods will be collected, detailed below.
Appointments for household hazardous waste drop off can be scheduled on the Rhode Island resource Recovery's website.

Household hazardous waste
- Full or partially full cans of oil-based or latex paint
- Medical sharps (needles, etc.)
- Fluorescent light bulbs
- Gasoline
- Disinfectant
- Used motor oil
- Lawn and propane tanks
- Household chemicals
- Mercury thermostats
- Pool chemicals

- Clothing: all types, sizes, seasons and genders
- Fabric
- Accessories: shoes, belts, hats, purses
- Linens: sheets, blankets, towels, other bedding
- Other small household items: small appliances, toys, tools, home decor, kitchen items, etc.
